What would you like to do as a club?

There are lots of things we can do through the photo club. Most activities will be during meetings, at lunch, or after school. Sometimes they might be on the weekend.

Here are some ideas....

Humans of Mesa High - this is a photo project that started as Humans of New York which is a documentary project where the photographer takes portraits of people and writes a few sentences about the stories they share with him. He has now traveled around the world.
Photos for Fundraising - Learn professional photography business skills and raise funds for club activities and competitions in Skills USA by taking portraits of people in our studios. They could be seniors, families, couples, fashion, prom, etc.
Event Photography - Fundraising through event photography is a way to go to school events, take pictures and sell them through our class sales website. It's a win-win. You get to practice your skills as a photographer, raise $$ for the club, and people get excited about prints.
Childcare Portraits - If the families in the childcare program are interested, we could take their class portraits and individual portraits of the children in the program.
Photo Challenges - We could have a topic each month and people could compete for the artist of the month and be featured on our website.
Decorate the Campus - Art Check Out Program - We could make prints available for check out. People could select images to hang in their offices around campus.
Create our own art show at local venues - If you know someone who owns a business that could feature artwork from our students, let us know.
Participate in art contests and competitions.

Now it's your turn....come up with 2-3 ideas and submit them on this form.

We won't be able to do every activity mentioned, but based on interest and budget, we can try to accomplish as many as possible.
