Graduation Day - Thursday, May 21st:
6 a.m. MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsal on the football field
Failure to participate in rehearsal means NO participation
in the graduation ceremony.
Caps and gowns are not required for rehearsal.
Make sure you are hydrated and bring some water.
5 p.m. Mesa High stadium gates open
6:15 p.m. Graduates report to line leaders at the south end of the football field.
7 p.m. Graduation ceremony begins.
All clothing must meet MPS dress code requirements as a minimum, but due to graduation being the culminating ceremony to honor more than a decade of hard work, the dress standards and expectations are more formal to reflect the occasion.
Below are listed the expectations for attire for graduation night:
Boys: Nice pants, a collared shirt, a tie, nice shoes
Girls: Dress, Blouse/skirt/slacks, nice shoes
Clothing NOT allowed:
T-shirts or other non-collar shirts
Shorts
Spiked heels

Students: Please make sure that you are hydrated. You are allowed to bring a water bottle, but NO hydro flasks.
Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag (no larger than 12 x 6 x 12)
Small clutch bag (no larger than 4.5 x 6.5)
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag
Medical bags are permitted but subject to inspection
Non-approved bags - backpacks, large purse, fanny pack, camera bag, oversized tote bag, diaper bag, binoculars case, mesh bag, tinted colored or pattern plastic bag, drawstring bag
Prohibited items:
Balloons, floral arrangements, signs, noisemakers, confetti
Balloons & floral arrangements are to be kept in vehicles until the ceremony is over.
Ice chests, coolers, board games
Saving seats is not permitted.
The auditorium will be open for those wishing to sit indoors.
Bus transportation will be provided from the LDS church on Southern Ave., between Harris and Stapley.

Tickets must be presented to sit on the track or field.
Bottled water will be sold by JROTC.
